Our system is based on a Chinese style taught by the late, Edmund K. Parker, Sr. Mr. Parker brought his style from his native Honolulu, Hawaii in the 1950’s. He is the undisputed Father of American Karate having opened the first commercial karate studio in the United States. Mr. Parker realized the need for new innovations to combat modern day methods of fighting and developed revolutionary concepts focusing on logic, rather than tradition, to meet the needs of today’s world.
We are proud to continue Mr. Parker’s legacy.
“I come to you with only karate, empty hands. I have no weapons, but should I be forced to defend myself, my principles or my honor, should it be a matter of life or death, right or wrong; then here are my weapons; Karate, my empty hands.” ~SGM Ed Parker
